Adriana Van de Leest
Playing Bio
Adriana discovered her love for hockey at a young age, inspired by her older brother. She developed her skills at Okanagan Hockey Academy, where she captained her team in her senior year before advancing to NCAA Division I competition. Adriana played two seasons at Bemidji State University before transferring to the University of Maine, where she was named assistant captain in her final year. Now competing professionally in Sweden, she continues to pursue the game that has shaped her life both on and off the ice.
Mentor Bio
My goal as a mentor is to guide, support, and empower young athletes, especially young women, both on the ice and in life. I focus on building strong relationships, habits, and confidence while also making sure every athlete knows that not every path to the same place looks the same, and that’s okay.
