Lindsey Donovan

Playing Bio

I grew up in Miramichi, NB, and moved to play prep hockey at Rothesay Netherwood School as a teenager. I went on to play at St. Francis Xavier (StFX) of USPORT, where I had a meaningful and experience packed university career. I attended Hockey Canada’s Development Camp, appeared at the U SPORTS Summer Showcase three times, and was a three-time U SPORTS and AUS First Team All-Star and two-time StFX MVP. After graduation I moved to play pro in Europe, with one season in Stockholm and three in Budapest. Here, I earned EWHL First Team All-Star honours. Beyond playing, I coach across the Maritimes and have spent the past three years with Fusion Hockey in Halifax, supporting spring and summer development, while remaining committed to mentorship and skills instruction.

Mentor Bio

For me, mentorship is about giving back. I've learned valuable lessons throughout my hockey journey, lessons about resilience, discipline, teamwork, and self-belief. Now, I want to share those with the next generation. I believe every young player deserves someone in their corner who understands the game and the grind. Being a mentor means being that consistent presence, helping players build confidence, stay focused, and reach their full potential, on the ice and beyond.
